overview
What did I do?
For this project, I built a book store app concept with a detailed overview of books, best selling lists, the latest books, and books coming out soon.
In this concept, a user can view book details like the author, the description, rating, reading times, as well as how many people have read the book.
I used a few of my own favorite titles in the build!
BACKGROUND
Why I picked this project
%20(1).png)
When picking personal projects, it's important to me to select projects to which I have a personal connection. Although this may not always be the case professionally, when I'm working on personal projects, I like to infuse my interests into the work.
During my childhood, you would always find me with my nose in a book, I loved exploring new ideas, concepts, places, and people that I otherwise would never have access to in real life.
As an adult, reading is still a habit I've stuck to and managed to incorporate into my routine. So obviously, I had to try my hands at developing a book app, it’s something I’ve always wanted to build. and when I came across the designs made for this one, in particular, I was so drawn to it that the decision to build it was a no-brainer.
